070502-1. Thangka of the third Panchen Lama,
Lobsang Paldem Yeshe (1738-1780), seated on an elaborate throne holding a book and making the teaching mudra, above him are (l-r) Vajrabhairava, red Amitayus, an unknown lama and Tsongkhapa. Below are three mounted guardian deities. Below is an inscription stating:

He who holds the hat and who is the master of the white expanse and to Vajrabhairava, who is the master of the realms of desire, to the noble Lobsang Paldem Yeshe, I pay my homage. Blessings.

72.5 x 44.5 cms.+brocades.
